Parrot Perfectly Sings ‘O Sole Mio’ And Performance Gives Luciano Pavarotti A Run For His Money

Unfortunately, neither of them sing. Maybe you’ve seen the video of the parakeet whistling ‘The Addam’s Family’ theme song, but have you heard this Parrot sing ‘O Sole Mio’ by Luciano Pavarotti? If you haven’t, let’s break it down.

The video starts off with this man, Jack Hilton, introducing his bird, Adrienne, and is obviously very excited to hear her—yes, her—sing.

As you can see, after some coaxing from Jack, she starts to sing and gets really into it—belting out long, high notes, and speaking the lyrics more clearly than a lot of artists!

When the bird doesn’t sing, Jack sings so that she’ll want to sing along. It’s the duet you didn’t know you needed.

Like every good pet owner, Jack makes sure to tell Adrienne how good of a job she’s doing. He says phrases to her like, “Good job, baby girl,” or “Good girl.” And eventually, as you can see in the picture, he makes sure to leave a kiss on her beak. At one point, they even put their foreheads against each other which is just the cutest site!

Finally, the video nears the ending when Adrienne, who’s obviously had a very tiring three minutes of singing, starts going to sleep. When her owner tickles her belly, she starts singing a line of a different song!
